Bright Future School serves students from primary education to high school
At Bright Future School, we believe education lays the foundation for a better future. We are committed to walking alongside every child from nursery through to higher education or vocational training. Our structured learning path helps children build knowledge, confidence, and life skillsβwhether they continue to secondary school or pursue hands-on careers. Each stage is designed to prepare them for self-reliance, dignity, and long-term success.
π§ Part 1: Nursery Section (3 Years) π§
Children typically enter nursery school at age 3 and spend three years building foundational skills.
Baby Class β Ages 3β4
Middle Class β Ages 4β5
Top Class β Ages 5β6
βοΈ Part 2: Primary Section (7 Years) βοΈ
After Top Class, children begin formal education in primary school, starting at around age 7.
Primary One β Age 7
Primary Two β Age 8
Primary Three β Age 9
Primary Four β Age 10
Primary Five β Age 11
Primary Six β Age 12 (Sub-candidate)
Primary Seven β Age 13 (Candidate for UNEB exams)
At the end of Primary Seven, students sit for national exams assessed by UNEB. Successful candidates qualify for secondary school.
π Part 3: Secondary School / βOβ Level (4 Years) π
At this stage, learners transition from being pupils to students.
Senior One β Age 14
Senior Two β Age 15
Senior Three β Age 16 (Sub-candidate)
Senior Four β Age 17 (Candidate for UNEB exams)
Upon passing their UNEB exams, students receive the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and may progress to high school or pursue a certificate-level course.
π« Part 4: High School / βAβ Level or Certificate Course (2 Years) π«
Based on their O-Level performance, students may choose an academic or vocational path.
Senior Five β Age 18
Senior Six β Age 19 (Candidate for UNEB exams)
Successful students are awarded the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE), which qualifies them for university or professional training.
π Part 5: University Degree or Diploma / College (2β3 Years) π
Students typically begin tertiary education at around age 20.
University Degree β 3 years
Diploma / College Course β 2 years
Placement depends on A-Level performance and available resources. Both options prepare students for entry into the workforce.
π Part 6: Graduation and New Beginnings π
Graduates are equipped to pursue employment in their chosen fields.
Where possible, the foundation offers support to ease the transition into independent adult life.
