Craft Making

We train children in handmade crafts, allowing them to develop creativity and generate income. This is especially impactful for those who cannot progress to secondary school, helping them support themselves and their families.

Tailoring

Through our tailoring program, children gain a valuable trade that fosters self-reliance. They can start their own businesses and create job opportunities for others after leaving the orphanage.

Computer Training

We provide computer literacy training to children over 8 and Primary Seven graduates. This gives them a strong foundation in digital skills that are essential for education, employment, and communication in today's world.

Piggery Project

Our piggery initiative offers both food security and income generation. It empowers youth through hands-on involvement and plays a vital role in reducing poverty by equipping them with sustainable livelihood skills.

Poultry Keeping

We raise chickens for egg production. The eggs help feed the children and are also sold to provide funds for food and other essentials.

Farming

Children learn to grow vegetables and potatoes to support a balanced diet at the project. Selling surplus produce helps us purchase scholastic materials and meet additional needs.

Goat and Sheep Rearing

We rear goats and sheep for meat and organic manure. Their droppings enrich our vegetable and crop gardens, supporting both food production and sustainability at the Nkuringo Orphanage Centre.

We offer entertainment performances to guests, lodges, and well-wishers in Nkuringo. These activities bring joy and showcase the children’s talents while helping raise funds.
